Fresh from appearing on the cover of DJ magazine at the end of last year, dance music mavericks, Hot City return with a new EP. Opener and title track 'Go Bang' sees the duo push their sound forward. This is big-room house music which will appeal to all kinds of DJ's and clubbers and is already a favourite with the DJ glitterati including Annie Mac. Hearing tracks like 'Girl I Know' you'll realise why people hail Hot City as the rave revivalists, an epic mix up of UK funky with big basslines and deep grooves. 'Going Down' is a slamming percussive club track and bringing up the rear, 'Work the Box' mixes huge hooks, jumpy synths and exploding two-step rhythms.
